Job Summary

Kevala is looking for a self-motivated Project Manager with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will work directly with internal leadership and strategic clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. This role is focused on consulting services that inform the build-out of the Network Assessor data platform and will be based out of our San Francisco, CA headquarters.

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will interface with clients and Kevala staff from project inception to completion. Work duties include the development of project scopes of work, management of project plans, active client engagement, translating client needs to internal development deliverables, leading client-facing meetings, conducting research and analysis, writing reports, and delivering findings. This position reports to the Head of Operations.

  • Subject matter expertise about distributed energy resources including technology, regulation, and grid integration.
  • A keen listener with the ability for taking stated business needs and structuring actionable scopes of work that deliver the results that clients are seeking.
  • Demonstrated project management excellence, with a proven ability to break down complicated tasks into discrete deliverables and manage inputs from a variety of sources.
  • Excellent writing, analysis, and presentation skills.
  • Accurately estimate reasonable time and cost to deliver projects and assign tasks to team
    members as needed.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and make required adjustments to complete on time, within budget, and to
    the satisfaction of the client.
  • Experience with government contracts, report writing, invoice generation, and complying with
    grant documentation requirements.
  • Adept at taking consulting research proposals and translating them into repeatable business
    requirements for internal software development.
